Expert on youth housing

Finnish Youth Housing Association (referred as NAL in Finnish) is a nationwide non-profit organisation focusing on youth housing .

Together with seven national member organisations, 28 regional associations, non-profit constructor Alkuasunnot Oy and NAL Palvelut Oy that provides supported housing services, Finnish Youth Housing Association:

> constructs and leases apartments (flats) for young people
> developes and provides services supporting those who are leaving home
> defends the interests of young people in a matter of housing
> shares information

NAL-housing is for young people between the ages of 18 and 29 that are either employed or looking for work. Those who are living on their own for the first time are a priority.

Most of the apartments are studios or two-room apartments. Our goal is to offer affordable and pleasant housing that responds to needs concerning e.c. room size, equipment and location and create possibilities for our residents to interact.
